Free CA eTrust EZAntivirus for Vista B2

I've installed Vista Beta 2 and as it isn't compatible with Zone Alarm, have installed the free EZ-Antivirus as recommended by Microsoft.
Real time scanning is however disabled and won't come on no matter how much I try.
Has anyone else had a similar problem and how can it be resolved?
Any
ideas?

I had the same problem as well. I used the other one recommended by Microsoft for Vista Beta 2 - Trend Microcillin. Seems to be working fine.
Yes...Zonealarm does not work as well. I also tried this too.

Why follow Microsoft's advice when it comes to antivirus products? They've never been known as "AV-Friendly" before. Why should they suddenly change now?
Use a decent product, like NOD32 (in my and many others' estimation probably the best of its kind). I believe that it is either Vista-compatible now, or will be soon. Of course, you will have to pay a few dollars for it. Basic protection just does not come "free" nowadays.
TrendMicro is a good AV product, however. Just make sure to keep it updated daily (even hourly).
The Vista firewall supposedly protects both ways, so it should be a decent firewall (or will be eventually).

I use CA eTrust and it works fine. It looks like a decent product and it's free for 1 year. "Dick C." wrote in message
